Established in 1952 by David and Mary Rawnsley with Joyce Morgan.
In 1959 they moved to Barbados where they continued making Chelsea-style pottery. They left the London-based pottery in the hands of Brian Hubbard who went on to run Chelsea for nearly forty years with the help of Joyce Morgan, thrower and modeller Frank Spindler, Barbara Ross, Daphne Corke and a large number of decorators and part time hobbyists.
