Mystery Marks
I’ve finally got round to starting a list of commonly found marks and misattributed marks which are still unidentified. Hopefully it will counter some of the misattributions creeping into the market place. If anyone can identify these marks please let me know.
Always best to double check attributions on one of the popular studio pottery collectors sites such as www.20thCenturyForum.com, and the British Studio Pottery Mystery Pots group on Facebook. Plus the 3rd Edn of the British Studio Pottery Marks book by Eric Yates-Owen and Robert Fournier, updated and edited by James Hazlewood. I try to ensure the marks I post on BISPM are correct but mistakes will invariably creep in.
